To the admin reviewing i hope your having a good day and i apologize in advance that what i have wrote is a bit long.
*What happened:*
- I was tracking a wanted criminal in the area (5 stars with the dark net task)
- i see the only people in sight are the ones in the taco trucks outside the MD
-I approach one of them and tell them to step out of their vehicle, i say it multiple times as he does not respond.
-He then tries driving away but my car was in front of his so he was struggling.
-I tried tasing him but because of the windshield glass it wouldn't go through. I took my Carbine out and shot the glass, i angled my shot away from his face and towards the corner of the windshield where the bullets would be going towards the middle of the vehicle/passenger seat
-Once the windshield was broken i tased him out the truck and was about to cuff him when i realized i have a gun in my hand and my quick slots are full so i went in my inventory to remove the gun.
- By the time i removed the gun he was running away, i gave more demands to stop but he didn't listen, i tried shooting my taser but it wasn't in range. so i had to use lethal force i.e. kill him with my revolver
From the point of me killing him, Darkov spawned on me and asked why i killed him and why i used lethal force. I explained that im looking for a wanted criminal in the area and this person is evading arrest. He asked me if i have bodycam of it and i said yes and he tpd away. After the admin situation i saved my bodycam (it normally saves 10 minutes of the previous gameplay) and i took the criminal to the DOC as he had a 5 star wanted level on him.
Once i processed him i saved my bodycam again but i noticed it did not save. When i went to check my folder i had seen that my storage was full. I went to check my previous pov from looking for the criminal in the area but it had only saved 4 minutes and 19 seconds of the gameplay instead of the full 10 minutes as my storage was full. For this reason i accept my punishment for State rule 5.6 : LSPD/SAHP/FIB require to have a bodycam for each arrest. | In the absence of evidence - verbal warning
The only confusion i had was why Darkov decided to involve himself in the situation when he came so late, normally when admins have not seen the situation they ask for the person complaining to post pov on the forums, i would also like to mention that the person i was chasing and later killed, he voiced no problem with the way i handled the situation, it was only after Darkov instigated that i had committed RDM that he started complaining (of course i cannot see admin tickets so i cannot verify if he made one or not but IC'ly this person i am arresting did not have any issue with what i did). I was confused that if the person did not call Darkov and darkov only spawned once i killed the person why would he involve himself in the situation? And theirs a possibility that the person i killed did not make any complaint for admins to come.
After speaking with Darkov he had told me he was watching from the beginning of the situation which confused me because if he had, he would have seen that it was not RDM and i followed the correct measures to apply lethal force. The only possibility that i can think of for him thinking i RDM'd was if i needed to F8 as my voice could not be heard in game.
As Darkov has claimed he was there from the beginning of the situation and i do not have pov of the situation ( i have already been punished for state rule 5.6) i am requesting for the admin reviewing this complaint to review his pov and see if he was there from the beginning from the situation like he had claimed or if he arrived late and made an assumption that i RDM'd someone. I would also like for it to be reviewed whether the player who i killed ID: 7176 made any admin ticket to ask for the admins help as i would like to know if Darkov was just randomly watching over me or if he has any association with the person i arrested OOC'ly.
When reviewing Darkovs pov of the situation you should see the following: me approaching the taco truck, give demands for the person to leave the vehicle, shoot the windshield of the vehicle (i would like to emphasize on vehicle because i did not shoot the person inside the car), tase the person. attempt to arrest and then they run away, attempt to tase the person again, and finally use lethal force after the person fails to listen to any demands multiple times.
Note: If in Darkov's pov, you cannot hear me give any demands, then i accept the punishment for RDM as i do not have any bodycam for the arrest (State rule 5.6)
