Leader of LifeInvader

2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organisation?

You never forget your first.
LifeInvader was the first organisation that I joined, working my way up from a Trainee to the (temporary) Leader within two months of my time there. Hasty, quite possibly but the past leaders saw something in me, noticing my dedication, hard work and friendly nature. The organisation has stayed dear to my heart and I've always wanted to come back and throw myself into the excitement that is LifeInvader. I think with my experience in Government working in the Public Relations department, I've developed my skills in social interaction which is what LifeInvader is all about: Promotion, Publicity and Pizzazz.
Power to the People!
The LifeInvader community is one of, if not, they nicest group of people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I want to give them the recognition they deserve and find ways to make theme excited about working in LifeInvader. I'd love to be able to work with some of my friends again and I've heard a lot of good things about the new collection of employees so I'm eager to get back in there, meet new people whether they're the hard working employees of the org or the citizens we assist everyday.
One person can make a change and everyone should try.
There are always ways to improve something, regardless of how seemingly perfect it may be and LifeInvader is no exception. I believe as leader, there are ways to make a change within the organisation for the better for future terms and future leaders to look at and think "hey, that's a great idea, let's keep it!". Taking leadership in LifeInvader will give me the opportunity to implement not only my own ideas for great changes, but the ideas of others that may not think they have a voice to speak up with. I want to make a cocktail of all these new ideas and build an organisation that's not only helpful and professional with our clients but fun and motivating for our employees.

3. Your advice for improving RolePlay level in the organisation.

If only we could gather up the juiciest stories in one place...
I want to bring back my Newsletter. I want to create a 4-5 page weekly letter filled with news on the city that includes serious stories regarding legal organisations, crime activity and things citizens should be aware of. I also want to include the more goofy side of the city, the fun side like party recaps, gossip stories and an advice column. The city is full of exciting stuff that's begging to be reported on and lets be honest, people thrive off the drama that happens. Want to hear about the latest hostage takedown? We got it! Did you hear that the wealthiest person in the city is now bankrupt? You have now! What about the power couple that had a few too many drinks at Vanilla Unicorn with the professional dancers and- Continues on page 7.
All work and no play makes LifeInvader a dull organisation.
Employees deserve just as much as the rest of the city does and I want to brighten their spirits after the stressful periods of rush hour. I want to create more internal events, little ways to spark up some fun, keeping the employees motivated. Being in PR during my time at Government, I've had experience on creating many ideas and would love integrate them to LifeInvader as it really sparks interest in the org and everyone has a good time. It's such a mood booster to take fifteen minutes out of the day to give employees a fun challenge and I want them to know they are appreciated.
More mutually beneficial connections!
LifeInvader has many facilities available to the other organisations that just don't get used as much as they could. We can connect with them to do more in terms of their promotional ceremonies, organising events through our GPS and CNN facilities and even going out to collect information from the public. I want to start polls and questionnaires to get the citizen's ideas and complaints, passing this information on along with potential fixes. If we reach out to them, they know they can reach out to us in return, creating a wonderful business relationship.
Being as strong as our weakest link and how we can increase their strength.
One issue LifeInvader has always had was trainees being too eager to take their test and start working. I want to extend the 12 hour wait period for a trainee to take their test to 48 hours, giving them more time to study the material. I also want to assign a "trainer" role to a select few high command, a sort of mentor position for these new trainees. They'll take time to work through the policy with the new hires, answering questions and explaining the trickier areas. The policy can be rather daunting for a new hire to read through and with someone more experienced being there to help guide them through it, I fully believe they will feel more comfortable in their role and more understanding of their duties thus reducing the number of mistakes.
New terms, new titles.
I want to switch up the ranks, introduce more roles and give people more variety on the path they can take. This includes more ranks for the news team to encourage newbies to work hard and build their skills, giving them an incentive to strive for better. It also includes assistant supervisors and assistant managers to give them a "trainee" role for high command so they don't feel immediately pressured to take on more responsibility. I also want to introduce a "Holiday" role where people can ask for a day off to spend time in the city having fun, not worrying about working. This is different to LOA as they will still get paid but are allowed to be active in the city without the stress of working during rush hour. These days off can be earned through hard work every week, whether its smashing their targets, being extremely helpful during events or writing an intriguing new article. Everyone deserves a day off.
