Dear Floki, Bobby!
I am writing to discuss an incident in which I received a punishment from Emad Kamado for violating event rule 1.14, which prohibits going on roofs. While I acknowledge that this action was not permitted, I felt that it was the most realistic course of action given the situation. We were being fired upon, and my only thought was to climb up the ladder, eliminate them, and then come back down in order to not pause any roleplay.
Later on, I observed Andy Lemon also punishing the individuals who had broken the rules, which means he chose to wait until the event had concluded and the individuals had fully broken the rules. I had been attempting to role-play in a logical manner, but unfortunately, the delay caused by Andy Lemon's actions resulted in in the FIB receiving a verbal warning.
I understand that this project aims to create a realistic role-playing environment, and I support this objective. However, it is not always possible to request the assistance of an admin quick enough, and i though the better option would have been to roleplay this issue out. In this case, I regret that I did not request the assistance of an admin.
I respectfully request for FIB's verbal warning to be removed. While I acknowledge that I committed a rule violation, I believe that the punishment was slightly excessive, particularly given the circumstances. Furthermore, I understand that a rule-breaking incident sets a precedent that should not be broken, but I was not intentionally disregarding the rules.
I would like to inform you that I have decided to step down from my position as a Deputy, as I have been subjected to targeted harassment from other players who seek to obtain FIB warnings. I value the principles of fair play and sportsmanship, and I severely apologize for the actions that i have taken in this scenario.
I appreciate your consideration of my request to have the verbal warning removed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Shabah Verlice.
