Organisations will need to post in the event discord which ID's will be active in the event up to the limit listed above, those limits may be changed if orgs are disbanded at the time of the event to make up for missing numbers or state or criminal side.

Why this event?

I think events that are inherently short and fun are just fine, but I’d like to bring something to the table that can create some IC lore and be a memorable event for all involved. The event will be hosted in the current dimension and played with slightly altered rules to the standard ones.


The Backstory

The criminal organisations of Los Santos have come together to pursue the financial gain of robbing the pacific standard public deposit bank in Los Santos putting a heist plan together to breach the vault and retrieve as much cash as possible from the bank. Moments before the heist a tip-off reaches LSPD and units from all organisations begin to arm up and prepare for a possible robbery situation on a new scale.



How it works

The specifics of this thread may be extensive so I’ll keep this part basic. The criminals will breach the bank, drill the vault and take an amount of money from the vault. Crime Orgs will then negotiate passage from the bank and must survive for 30 minutes after leaving the bank with the cash until the fence arrives either by running from the cops or laying low after outrunning them before having to travel to the fence location. During this time the Crime orgs will have set up getaway vehicles and ambush locations to deter or stop the Legal orgs in their tracks. Approximately 30 minutes after leaving the bank the fence will show up at a specific location, the fence will not take the cash until he feels safe to leave.

Four criminals (with specific NPC skins) will do some roleplay commands (/me /do) with a bit of creativity to drill the vault (downstairs) and take the money, each of these people with the skins are worth 25% of the cut (prize) and must also do further RP with the fence to hand over cash, as mentioned above the fence will not take the cash in a gunfight or in presence of state orgs.


Win conditions

State win:
The players holding the stolen money are killed meaning the stake is recovered.
Crime Win: The fence takes some or all of the stake meaning there is a full or partial win. The fence will leave via car, boat, helicopter or plane, the fence can not be attacked or killed.

Admin/Curator requirements


Position the requested vehicles at the respective HQ’s.

State Orgs: The Roles

LSPD
- Maintain presence at the Bank Robbery, negotiate with the criminals over Hostage Demands. Initiate the initial pursuit if passage out of the bank for criminals is successfully negotiated for hostages safety.

SAHP - Has some units assist at the bank and are critical in the initial pursuit if passage out of the bank for criminals is successfully negotiated for hostages safety. SAHP’s primary goal is to be positioned on the highways and any roads identified as being of strategic importance and lead pursuits of vehicles.

FIB - Recon, during the time while LSPD negotiates at the bank FIB will have the ability to scout the map, they can look for any possible getaway vehicles or ambush locations in an attempt to be one step ahead of the criminals. FIB will avoid getting into combat unless fired upon until the hostages are secure back at the bank. After the hostages are secure FIB can work with other orgs freely and move to infiltrate any ambush locations ahead of time. Is not part of the initial getaway chase.

GOV: After the tip off that something might go down at the bank four Secret Service agents are positioned at the bank for monitoring. If outnumbered these agents will surrender, however if greeted by an equal or smaller number of hostiles then they will attempt to defend the bank.(The four agents will be used as hostages for the first part of the robbery, after being secured they should be taken to the nearest hospital for check-ups before their role is finished in the event).

NG: Military response to FIB intel, will block roads/highways and respond in force to ambush locations or high activity locations alongside other orgs. NG will stay on standby until instructed within FZ which is off limits for criminals during the event. Is not part of the initial getaway chase.


State Orgs - Vehicles

Orgs can choose the quantity of the vehicles but are encouraged to vary their vehicles for RP purposes (for example not just picking the fastest cars).

FIB:
Positioned at HQ: fib, fib2, police4, Buzzard2 (Max 1) - Custom Location: dinghy3 (Max 1).
LSPD: Positioned at HQ: police3, police2, policet, riot (Max 1), polmav (Max 1).
SAHP: Positioned at HQ: sheriff, sheriff2, police4, Custom Location: predator (Max 1)
NG: Positioned at HQ: crusader, barracks, riot2 (Max 1), cargobob (Max 1)

Vehicles must be submitted to the state curators 24 hours before the event or State Curators will choose.



Crime orgs - Roles

Criminal orgs will need to plan ahead of time to succeed, making use of getaway vehicles, getaway routes and ambush locations.

Marabunta - Located inside the bank, initial confrontation with agents inside and will attempt to take them as hostage. Will negotiate passage demands when LSPD arrives and make the initial getaway. Between the initial getaway and drop off to the fence all activities are to be planned by the organisations. Will be responsible for half of the heist money. Assist at the fence location. Two people must be selected to carry the money and have a specific skin.

Vagos
- Located inside the bank, initial confrontation with agents inside and will attempt to take them as hostage. Will negotiate passage demands when LSPD arrives and make the initial getaway. Between the initial getaway and drop off to the fence all activities are to be planned by the organisations. Will be responsible for half of the heist money. Assist at the fence location. Two people must be selected to carry the money and have a specific skin.

Ballas
- Facilitates getaway transport in pre-planned specific locations, for example a faster vehicle or a boat setup at a location to make distance from LEO’s or trick them into an Ambush location. Assist and or transport the carriers to fence location at the time.

Bloods - Ambush, setup at a specific location either with or at a separate location to Families. Assist at the fence location.

Families - Ambush, setup at a specific location either with or at a separate location to Bloods. Assist at the fence location.

Communication

For the event I am proposing that we do not use normal radio other than department chat in case it is required for the standard dimension activities. Instead two Discord’s will be created that will be bare bones and deleted post event.

State (temp) Discord:

3x “Joint Tactical” voice Channel for State org to communicate.

1x text Channel for pre-event communication with admin/curator for state to decide on vehicles.


Crime (temp) Discord:

3x “Joint radio frequency” voice channel for Criminal org to communicate during the event.

1x text Planning channel for strategy for leadership to communicate their plans.

1x text channel to communicate vehicle selection and the two people who will take the money carrier skins.

Essentially something similar to the revolver event that can be used to facilitate communication about the event.

Edited Based on leader and curator feedback - Changelog


- Event will be played in the live dimension
- Removed any notes of different dimensions and removed the "After the event" section that was added to make it easier for admins to return people to standard world.
- Added a section under the player count stating orgs will need to post the ID's that will be active in the event before the start time in Discord.
- Now the event is in the live world STATE orgs will be able to utilise blockades to gain control of the map, however the expectation is that these are not placed in the close vicinity of the bank to allow for the event to move to the chase stage if demands are agreed.
- Fixed a few typos
