"Aim small miss small." This was engrained in Tommy by his father for years and years until his father was handed an unexpected death. Tommy East had an easy life in the bronx, His father was a cop before tommy was bron, not just any beat cop, his father had built a reputation for himself around the block they lived in. He just about ran circles on everyone, some would say they had him in his pocket but in reality Mr. East was always playing chesshe had a gift for reading people. He claimed peoples emotions and mind are like jazz ,you just had to find the tune and improv around until you take the lead ....playing people came easy and having a badge doubled his outcome..until he got caught up by Internal affairs and discharged. Regardless, he brought bread to the table by taking hold of the streets. He passed down his hustle to both his sons. A few months after Tommy turned 13, the inevitable came, the streets caught up to Mr. East and he sadly passed away.
Mrs. East decided it was best for her and her children to move to her hometown in Chicago expecting family support. She worked multiple jobs and was absent as most mothers are who raise their children on their own. Tommy raised his younger brother. He used what his father had taught him and survived the streets. He blended in the best he could but deep inside he knew he was meant to do more. He would chew on the aim small miss small lessons his father taught him. It was a gun lesson, but his father had talked about how it applied to life and tommy was beginning to see that. He did what he had to do to survive, his mother had moved to one of the roughest neighborhoods, he made sure to befriend gang members and people of power that would protect him, in return he would provide what he would not call: intel. Tommy kept a close eye and ear to the streets, and he had a knack for piecing information together and using it to an advantage regardless of the position. At 20 Tommy realize he has to get out and was honest to himself on what he true goal was. He analyzed his natural gifts. His ability to butter people up, ability to gather intel, the rush he got from "making moves". He decided he was joining the army to get out of the hood and get himself in the right direction. He had no idea what was to come.
His aptitude test got him placed in an entry level position as a Military Intelligence Officer. He was trained to work in Air, Ground and Sea intelligence operations. Learned to use surveillance equipment, asses' risks, and act to neutralize intelligence threats. He was good at what he did and was able to butter his was with elbow grease and smooth talk to a high-ranking position. He managed to obtain crucial training for the field work, from hand combat, weapons and explosives t to precise sniper executions and interrogations. He learned how to work between the shadows and ride the gray areas. Tommy East retired early to fulfill a long dream of his...Restoring the East name within the Law enforcement world. He returned to Chicago and went to his local PD. His previous training mixed with his efforts and talents pushed him up the ranks and in no time was in charge of the detective division. One day he was contacted by a PD from a city called Los Santos. Up and coming city that needed some help, seems they did not have any detective division whatsoever, so Tommy East flew into the city to get things kick started. He spent a few weeks in a rented-out apartment and helped get their detective division going...He fell in love with the city and decided to uproot his life and move to what he considered to be a new challenge, Los Santos. As usual, Tommy East did what he does best and got to work. His name carried around town and soon enough FIB came knocking on his door. After a few tests he was unknowingly placed in, it was decided Tommy East was a perfect fit for the FIB. Tommy then excelled through the ranks of Fib, attaining the Rank of 00/Secret agent. After working 10+ terms in FIB, tommy retired to start a family with his wife. Tommy loved his newfound life in retirement, he felt he finally found peace. Tommy's sense of loyalty is strong and rooted in family. When his underboss in Family Maeve Mcormick made the decision to run for governor, tommy gave his full support. After winning the election she requested the services of tommy for one last job. Clean the city of corruption using whatever methods necessary.
He was cleared and began to work. Tommy immediately was placed as head of rainbow division with the purpose of blending in anywhere to catch and stop corruption.
Outcomes:
1. Able to work with informants and pay for information or evidence.
2. Able to wear the tattoos on his face as they have served a purpose to help aid his efforts while undercover.
3. Able to take bribes to either arrest and prosecute or use to open up doors for more intel or possible opp. He is allowed to keep the bribe as a bonus.
4. Able to confront 2v1 situations and confront the situation head on with his training be it negotiations or hostile takedown.
5. Able to assist individuals at DOC with yard time, gym time and other special privileges like furlough to obtain intel.
6. Able to pick guns from the floor during combat as he is trained for a warzone and how to improvise when he is out of ammo.
7. Able to carry org items with him, his vehicles and at home as his positions places him in a always active and on duty status, his positions also allow him to carry multiple items to distribute to his team on the field when need be.
8. Able to form relationship with gang members to attain intel.
9. Able to go in ghetto to retrieve intel and fight only when engaged.
