Jamal Davis grew up in one of the toughest neighborhoods, Idlewood, in the south side of Los Santos. When he was just eight years old, Jamal witnessed his parents being killed in a drive-by shooting by debt collectors. he was Left alone with his only brother Jamar Davis, while Jamal was getting bounced around the foster care system, eventually he lost his brother too.
As Jamal got older, he became obsessed with making money. He saw how difficult life could be and desperately wanted to escape his circumstances. He began robbing houses, ATMs, and stealing cars to sell the car parts for money. But soon, he discovered a quicker way to make money through underground gambling and fighting.
Jamal started gambling in underground casinos and fighting in underground fight clubs. His fists made him quick cash, and it was where he could forget about his troubled childhood and the pain of losing his parents.
But the fights began to take a severe toll on Jamal. To help him cope with the physical and emotional pain of fighting, he turned to drugs. At first, it was just a way to numb the pain, but before long, he found himself addicted. He couldn't imagine life without the drugs and the highs they gave him.
Despite his addiction, Jamal continued to gamble and fight his way through life. He made some money, but it was never enough. Jamal was never satisfied, he was always looking to win another fight or make another bet.

Jamal Davis' life took a drastic turn when he met a commissioned officer of the National Guard named Hugo Krown at a party After getting to know Hugo, Hugo saw something special in Jaml and convinced Jamal to join the army.
Once Jamal agreed to join, he was trained by a guy named Zardo, who taught him all the skills he needed to become a successful member of the National Guard. Jamal excelled in his training and soon rose through the ranks, becoming one of the highest-ranking members of the National Guard by the age of 24.
Through his work at the National Guard, Jamal found his brother, Jamar Davis. After years of being separated, they were finally reunited, and Jamal was overjoyed to have his brother back in his life.
Despite his success in army, Jamal's addiction to drugs and money still consumed him. Even with all the money he had, he still felt like there was never enough. He continued to gamble and use drugs, hiding it from those around him.
Jamal found himself gravitating towards people who were involved in extreme gambling, seeking the thrill that came with making and losing large sums of money. Despite his better judgment, he found himself getting deeper into the underbelly of Los Santos, gambling with high stakes and associating with dangerous people.
Until Today, Jamal is still in the National Guard, where he continues to serve with honor and distinction. He's is stil a drug and money addict , but he is working with others to help them overcome their demons and find a brighter future. Although he'll always be grappling with his addiction, Jamal knows that he's in a much better place now than he ever was before. He's grateful for the second chance that life has given him, and he'll never take it for granted.
Despite having found success in the National Guard and a reunion with his brother, Jamal's addiction will continue to be a part of his life. No matter how much therapy or rehab he underwent, he couldn't shake the compulsion to indulge in his addiction.
