In the POV you can clearly see FIB not valuing the life of the hostage saying we are outnumbered. We even threatened that if we do not receive any type of cash compensation, the hostages are gonna be harmed and gonna have their fingers chopped, to which he replied "it doesn't scare me". When we told them that we would kill the hostages if something were to happen to us, to which he replied "go for it". While I do not expect us to be immune just because we have hostages, I expect them to value for their life and meet us halfway. When we told them that we will not be accepting their offer of letting the hostages go for absolutely no cost, they went back and immediately came back in and opened fire at us, which forced us to kill the hostage. Anyone who values the life of the hostage would not open fire like they did.
