So we were at a store robbery with hostages organized by the Ballas Street Gang. We were running around the area trying to get better positions and look for potential 10-15s for exchange. As you can see in the POV, one of them fell down the roof and refused to put his hands up when he had multiple guns pointed at him. Then his fellow gang members jumped down from that same roof to "help" him avoid getting cuffed, however, they were outnumbered and went away so we were able to capture 2 10-15s to then negotiate the exchange for the hostages. When we brought the 10-15s to the negotiation, the hostage takers killed the hostage and started a gunfight with LEOs.
For clarification, if they didn't want us to take positions and try taking any 10-15s it would be considered a demand as it gives the gang advantage so they should've exchanged one of the hostages for this demand. So without them doing it, it is our right to move around the area trying to find ways to gain advantage with positions and capturing 10-15s for the exchange.
All LEOs acted following the server rules, and the gang killed the hostage and started a shootout unprovoked.
