Leader of SAHP
Frederick Rogues
About me
Hello, firstly I want to thank you for reading through my application for Sheriff of SAHP. I plan to go into some detail in this application to put some minds at ease over my plans for the organisation for the upcoming term, I plan to resolve some issues and refine areas that need work.
For those that don’t know I am a previous leader myself taking the responsibility of EMS Leader late last year, I had an incredibly successful term focusing on taking the EMS from a dysfunctioning organisation to a highly functioning organisation breaking records for triple lobby cover and medkit supplies with a restricted bonus offering in comparison to todays availability.
Following this I joined the SAHP where I climbed the ranks to Deputy Sheriff under Ryan Slaters first term, assisting him with his vision for the organisation, helping with recruitment and having a critical role in making sure the organisation has no OOC strikes or verbal's at any point during the time I have been inside the organisation. I have recently returned in an advisory capacity to assist with some recently arisen issues and see the term end in a positive and active note.

Why do I want to be the SAHP Leader?
Until recently I hadn't wanted to take the position, I was kindly offered to have Ryan’s second term (which I declined) when I was deputy however at the time I did not have a vision or plan to make significant positive change. However I have since had some fantastic ideas and areas of focus I’d like to share with you all.
---
1. Highway Patrol
Firstly and most importantly, my primary focus will be to have SAHP regain it’s primary focus as an organisation, this essentially will be Highway Patrol. Robbing on city highways must have a risk vs reward factor and right now, for gangs and families this really doesn’t exist other than at times where SAHP faces small numbers or unprepared criminals.
To tackle this issue I plan to ensure that SAHP is an attractive department to work for, the recent edition of SRT with stylized uniforms and specialised operations has increased retention of high quality members, I plan to create units that focus around dealing with blockades on highways. The SAHP in theory has the potential to be the most interesting, high action state organisation available given the threats up north.
Secondly, to assist with Highway patrol I plan to create a closer bond between the SAHP and NG by having joint Highway patrols or “Blockade Buster” runs to increase the risk for criminals robbing on the highway. This has something NG/SAHP has done in the past and can be a healthy activity for both organisations.
Lastly, and while this has been said before, ensuring that we keep active highway patrols and do not have the IC threat of being taken hostage or robbed stop us from fulfilling our primary role in the city and avoid the appearance of being an org that stands on a hedge all day.

2. Keeping/creating a varied and unique experience as an organisation
I have noticed that some people’s vision for SAHP revolves around creating an experience similar to FIB or turning the SAHP into FIB all together with undercover units / 00 agent equivalents etc. I personally disagree, SAHP has found a place in the city offering a different level of RP to other organisations at a much different pace.
It is my opinion that we should focus on creating positive experiences for organisation members by creating an environment similar to a County Sheriff’s office, during my time as Deputy Leader of the department I found that I was able to keep up moral by creating RP experiences such as physical exercise training at our local obstacle course or off road driving training, both of which having random, memorable moments.
---
Active Recruitment
There’s no doubt that until the ramp down at the end of term now SAHP has had an increase in overall recruitment and has seen numbers increase into the triple figures. My plans for the department are to increase the overall activity beyond what has been achieved over the last three terms across the RS department and overall member count. I also plan to put a proposed subdivision split between training and recruitment in place which I have considered for some time.
In terms of overall number count, I do believe that without attempting to sound arrogant I do believe that I can retain most of the current member base into the next term due to the positive experiences and mutual respect I have with the current members.
Additionally to this I plan to have the emails include a PR (Public Relations) section for Newsletters and bulletins while also working closely with Life Invader to ensure that what we do as an organisation is visible to everyone. Right now I feel like the most visible part of SAHP publicly is the front of our HQ.
------------------
Advice for improving RP
I personally believe that SAHP has the best position to focus on being the state organisation that promotes the best quality of RP. Regardless of people’s outside opinions of SAHP there is a true bond between the majority of its current members. In order to improve RP within SAHP I plan to increase the amount of Icly ran events we perform in the city, both including other organisations and also in-house ones like the training sessions, or spontaneous tasks and operations.
I also plan to increase the use of /me /try /do to promote higher quality of RP, especially when used by Special operations for narcotics or tracking vehicles to ensure we are meeting the required standard.
Lastly, I want to thank you once again for reading my application. I hope I can have the opportunity to bring this organisation forward and spend hopefully two highly successful terms with you all.
