Dear Magnes or to whom it may concern,
Firstly, I would like to start off by saying I understand why I was blacklisted from being CEO and genuinely appreciate the opportunity to become interim COO to assist the Interim Leader of Li Kim Abergil.
As you know, I speak passionately but it is never my intention to come across rudely to any curators or admins. Especially after building a good rapport with the team as a player. When I look back on the situation, I understand that my written words failed to show my true emotion and came across in an attacking manner. I will admit that the entire team, especially myself, were tired and overwhelmed from working around the clock while successfully rebuilding Li. I’m proud of our accomplishments during that time. With that came exhaustion and it played a part in how the situation was handled. Instead of continuing to engage in written form when I felt attacked, I should have requested to speak in a vc chat to gain more clarity. I truly feel as though it would have helped to de-escalate the situation to find resolve and move forward in the right direction. It was my first leadership, and I don’t regret anything. Hear me out. Because, it set me up to be successful to complete my next term if given the chance. A mistake was made that provided a learning experience that is valued. And, what you saw in my character is that I genuinely care about my staff and the organization. But, had I understood clearly what was happening, the reaction would have been a lot different, and I wouldn’t be taking this time to write my appeal today. I will take the steps necessary so that doesn’t happen again.
Since the incident, I continued to serve in Lifeinvader through multiple terms. Former CEOs looked to me to become their COO. Although I wasn’t able to, I felt valued which gave me the fuel to press on and continue what I do best. I have plenty of experience and knowledge of the organization's functions and capabilities. We have organized and conducted many successful events, interviews, parties, and lent helping hands to the ads team. But, the number one thing I am proud of since becoming the HOD and quickly promoted to Director of the Department of Journalism is turning around our department with our amazing team! The fact that people are excited about journalism again is a huge win!
I’m only a small piece of the puzzle that fights for Lifeinvader to make sure the organization is functioning the way it should be, which is why this is one organization I do not take lightly. In my current interim position, I take the time to assure each department is running smoothly, people look to me for advice and assistance, and as you are aware from my punishment history that I respect the rules of the city and never committed any major rule breaks.
With this said, I kindly ask that you consider removing my leadership blacklist so that I can get a second chance at finishing what I and my previous team worked so hard for… to improve the function and quality of life within the organization. If given the chance, I will take pride in falling in line with some of the best leaders of Li!
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my MinxTalk, and I hope you have an amazing day ahead!
Sincerely and all the best,
Minxy Malono
