Nico was born and raised in Vice City. Nico's Childhood was all in Italian-Mafia family (Vercetti Crime Family) Nico learned how to pick locks at age of 9 and learned how to use a gun at 14. Nico was a master thief at robbing houses and stuff. One night Nico's Dad (Tony Vercetti) told him about his life and Nico wanted to go a different path then his father and big just as strong as him so he made his dream to join police and stay legal while doing illegal.

Nico had took a trip to Los Santos all alone and when he got their he met his friend named Carl Johnson who is in Police and Nico had always wanted to join Police and Nico heard a news that his father was arrested for doing illegal activities. Nico knew someone inside the crime family gave the tip to police to take over the family and become the leader. Few days later Nico started getting attacked by some people and to insure his security he told his friend that he wants to join the police too and since Nico couldn't go back to his city because of the danger he had to join the LSPD. Nico is doing really hard work and real hard training to get to high ranks and become the person who controls most of the LSPD.
