I was taking this 10-15 to capitol for bench trials and suddenly some random people pulled up and pulled me over and started to shoot me randomly.

There were only 2 cars with 3 people, so no need to pull over, that does not mean they cannot try and give demands, you simply dont have to comply. However, they broke some other rules, for which they will be punished. I cannot confirm MG, as they were already near you from the start of the POV.
