1.18 - it is forbidden to use places that cannot be accessed by foot or ladder when event has already started.

regardless of what your friends have told you, please listen to the admin who is dealing with this thread and submit your POV. thank you.
its clearly a violation of rule 1.18 unless you can prove you got there by foot or ladder after event has started.

Sorry, I was sleeping lol. Anywayy, here's my POV. The roof we were on is accessible through ladders inside the event so Event 1.18 does not apply; the roof we were on is ACCESSIBLE by ladder from inside the event.
No one started in the zone so Event rule 1.3 does not apply either.

hi, i think the rule is very clearly misunderstood by everyone here.

When they say 'accessible once event has already started' it means that the area you started on, next to the globe has to be accessible even after event has started.
However, that location is not accessible at all. Because once event has started, if you use the ladders from inside to get to that location, you would be outside the zone and be kicked from the event.

This has how this rule has always been treated for events like foundry and weapons factory.


also just to confirm, rule is 'accessible once event has already started' not 'accessible from inside the event' these are completely different things. that roof is completely inaccessible once event has already started.

yeah the wording on the rule is quite clear "it is forbidden to use places that cannot be accessed by foot or ladder when event has already started."

people keep rephrasing it to "it is forbidden to use places that cannot be accessed by foot or ladder from inside the event?????"

but both wordings have different outcomes and its clear what the first one means

So like most everyone understands even the admins upon reading this post i replied that it should be accessible from the inside. The rule didn’t state (inside or outside) because just like the highway in weapons it is forbidden because no one can go up from the inside, meaning the point of the rule is to make sure everyone is in a place you can access inside the event.

then the rule needs to be changed because it doesnt say 'accessible from inside the event'
instead it says 'accessible after event starts'. and that roof isnt accessible after event starts unless a heli is used

It should be clearer and precise because everyone might have a different understanding and since this is a important thing that we need to follow it should have no loop holes. Just like "Event Rule 1.2 It is forbidden to kill/rob/kidnap/etc. before the event starts(10 minutes before) and 5 minutes after | Warn" since it doesn't say something about DURING the event so others did that.

There is also one place in the factory which you cannot access from the outside but others are using it. check this

and this was his report. Approved - Event rule 1.3 | id | 515,1336,4346 he was not punished eventhough he started from that spot.

So I think a lot of people will get confused because of it and everyone will have different understanding to a specific rule like that so it should be clearer.
