Subject: Request to Reconsider Discord Ban and FIB Term Disbandment
Dear Admins,
I’m really upset about what happened with my FIB term being disbanded and my Discord ban. I took on the role of FIB Director to help make the server better with good roleplay and to minimize rule breaks. A 30-day term is a big commitment, and I was working hard to make it a success.
Unfortunately, my Discord account got hacked because I clicked on a Patrolling Guide link (Proofs) that was sent in the curator’s chat, where we discuss things with admins and deputies. After clicking, my Discord crashed, and I thought it was just a bug. Later, I realized something was wrong, so I contacted my friends who play with me and let you know as soon as I could.
I managed to recover my Discord account and secure it without any further issues. But instead of getting any help or understanding, my Discord was banned, and my FIB term was disbanded. I don’t think this is fair. I didn’t break any major rules or get (3/3) warnings, and I wasn’t involved in anything like a blacklisted player. The only issue was the hacking, which I fixed quickly.
I know about GR 1.2, which says that players are responsible for their accounts. But after recovering my account, I believe banning me and ending my term isn’t the right call. On top of that, I saw that the previous FIB leader was allowed to leave NG before finishing his 30-day term and was made FIB Director with admin help. Why was he allowed to break the term rule, but I’m getting punished for something out of my control?
It feels unfair to be banned and have my term disbanded when all I did was get hacked. I’ve secured my account now.
I hope you can reconsider the decision. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Best regards,
Aniii Yuna (FIB Director)
