Subject: Appeal for Discord Unban
Dear Admin Team,
I’m writing to appeal the decision to ban my Discord ( ani1822 )_(User ID- 774549085385654292) account following the compromise that led to the disbanding of my FIB term. Here’s what happened:
While I was actively serving as a leader, I clicked on a document link in the curator chat, which was supposed to check access permissions. Immediately after opening it, my Discord crashed. I thought it was a routine issue and shut down my PC. Within a few minutes, I was notified by friends that my account had been hacked.
I took immediate action, removing any unauthorized devices connected to my Discord and securing my account. I have since implemented additional security measures, including two-factor authentication, backup codes, and other protections to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
Having served as a leader for two organizations, I am confident that my account is now secure. I am appealing to have my Discord unbanned so that I can continue to contribute positively to the server and pursue another leadership opportunity.
I believe the measures I’ve taken will prevent any future incidents, and I am committed to upholding the rules and security standards moving forward.
