Dear Lebron Pluxury,
I was banned today for 4.1 (positive PC Check), but nothing illegal was found. I have never had anything to do with cheats, and the PC check confirmed this as nothing suspicious was discovered on my computer. The only issue was my presence on a banned Discord server that offered gun packs, revolvers, and similar items. My last visit to this Discord was a long time ago, and I was unaware that illegal content was being shared there. I never used or accessed any of the offerings and had not interacted with the server for a long period.
The PC check was completely negative, and the ban is solely based on the fact that I was on the Discord server. As a result, I now have a 60-day cheating ban despite not using any cheats or other prohibited modifications, which I find very harsh. The admins also told me that they had a lengthy discussion, as the only issue was my membership in a mods Discord (which later also included cheats).
Additionally, my Redux and gunpacks did not reveal any violations. There have been no rule breaches on my part in 2024, and in 2023, only two minor infractions (VDM, FailRP). My admin record is therefore almost entirely clean. The PC check did not uncover any evidence of wrongdoing/cheating on my part, apart from my presence on that one Discord server.
The admins engaged in a lengthy discussion about this situation, as the illegal Discord server was the only point of concern. Within the state, I served as the Vice leader of Lifeinvader until the PC check, and I had no involvement in events or gambo action. Thus, I could not have gained any unfair advantage.
In response to this incident, I have left all mod-related Discord servers. During the PC check, I also left the prohibited Discord server, which I had only joined to check out the mods. At that time, there were no cheats on this Discord.
I have been part of Grand since December 2021 and have always conducted myself as an active and friendly player.
With this appeal, I respectfully ask for forgiveness and leniency.
Thank you,
Philip Pedri
