Background story:
Onyx refers to a dark stone and references a pattern of parallel bands. Parallel in most contexts can also mean equal or leading to the same place. You may never meet, but the goal will always be the same. When the Onyx Family was created, there was only one goal in mind. To create a family. A family of individuals who were once parallel but defied the odds and met. With us.
In early 2022, the founders of the Onyx family met in the sunny city of Los Santos. One was a jokester, constantly looking for hot older women and the other was a weirdly hard working individual who would run on foot to the wood mill to make money. The jokester would always pick up the loon and through that a friendship blossomed and they were always there when they needed each other.
From having each other’s back in shootouts, to watching out for cops during ATM robberies, these two people knew they could always rely on each other. But jobs were getting tougher and tougher. From competing crews and gang members to just other criminals, it was getting hard to continue with just the two of them. So they set out to find a crew and along the way met old friends who became closer than siblings and new friends who brought a fresh vibe to the group.
After a couple months in the city, the “crew” was more family than strangers and they were only growing.

- Help new people in the city.
- Recruit family members and have a family that's always there for each other.
- Have the most alliances in the city.
- Acquire businesses and make money for the family.
- Become a top family.
