His life changed when he discovers working with a gang called the Vagos, led by leo .He attacked an NG officer to show Vagos his ability to prove his worth to leo, and taught himself hand-to-hand combat and the use of weapons. Also, he's not afraid of anyone and is popular with those living in the city's domination for killing rival gangs from other gangs like BLOODS and Families. He has roles in most gangs and is hungry for money when he robs. At this point, kai was more involved in killing and decided to sneak into the area, but suddenly one day he was arrested by NG detectives, received a fine he never received in his life, and spent months in jail. When he got out of jail he got into hiding for a couple of months and in mean time he was preparing fake documents to join NG after a couple of months he started working in NG to achieve the goals set by his mother. But he knew that NG salaries alone were not enough. So his inner old kai is mentally tormenting him, so he decides to visit his old friends in "Vagos" where they convince him to be corrupt and keep selling guns, drugs, etc. while he's off work to achieve his goals and inner satisfaction.
