Dear Chiefs,
FIB received a verbal warning for not starting the gang raid as scheduled at 19:15 and informing the curators quite late.
A Store Robbery event appeared just before the scheduled time, which is of course not unusual. As always, we informed our curator about a delay but today today we informed late (3 minutes before the time) and through DM directly to Asrin instead of the State Raids channel. I understand this has caused some issues with other events. I am terribly regretful for that and I express my sincere apologies to anyone who we have caused an inconvenience by this.
We are always mindful of turf days and how scheduling can be sensitive. Since today wasn’t a turf day, we thought informing about a short delay through DM (to the person who originally approved the time) would be the fastest way to communicate, as we have done in the past with no issues. Clearly, that wasn’t the right call, and I take full responsibility for it.
Despite this, today marks our 55th successful gang raid, and we’ve never had timing issues before. We’ve worked hard and will continue to do so until the end of our term. I truly hope you can understand where we’re coming from and take our verbal appeal into consideration.
As a side note, on the 5th of March we had a similar incident where FIB could not start the raid because Marabunta started the raid on Vagos seconds before us, even though we respected the scheduled time. We quietly complied, retreated, requested new time and raided at a later time, no issues. I hope whomever we inconenienced today can find sympathy and relate to us, that these things can unintentionately happen in RP.
Thanks in advance, and again, I appreciate your time.
With respect,
Bronson.
