I had just connected to the server and didn’t even have time to properly start RP when I was suddenly attacked. I spawned at the parking lot, and a new player immediately started punching me. He chased me around the parking area, repeatedly hitting me.
In the moment, I reacted by pulling out my shotgun and killing him. This was an active RP scenario, so I took it as that because I have seen many scenarios in Green Zones that this has happened multiple times where admins were called and they didnt ban anyone. I admit it wasn’t the best reaction, but it was a reflex in response to being attacked. Right after that, I revived him and calmly tried to explain that what he did was not allowed — that this was a green zone and random punching is not okay.
My intention was never to cause harm or break rules, but to educate a new player. I genuinely thought I was handling it the right way by reviving him and explaining the rules.
However, while I was in the middle of doing this, I was suddenly sent to demorgan — with no warning, no questioning, and no chance to explain my side of the situation. I found this really unfair and believe the situation could have been handled with more communication.
What’s frustrating is that earlier today, I had someone repeatedly ramming me in the parking lot. I reported it to an admin — Chula Bambino — and even asked for a revive because someone broke the rules. I was told they couldn’t interfere because it was considered an "active RP" scenario.
The other day I revived someone in parking and i got gunned down for doing that, called the admins and they said it was an active rp situation. So whats different here.
But in this case im posting, this was also an "active RP scenario". I was being randomly attacked, I reacted, and I still made an effort to resolve it in-character by reviving the guy and explaining the rules. If anything, I thought I was doing the right thing.
So, I’m respectfully asking to be removed from demorgan. I’ll make sure to be more careful going forward and continue trying to follow the rules and help new players learn the ropes.
