I shot at a drone who was taking evidence and all the leos there started shooting us and broke many rules

From the POV which you provided
No rulebreak from Leos, you endanger their lives by shooting at them they will shoot you back
their life is important to them than hostage life.
They still complied with your demands for the hostage even when they outnumbered you 6:1 !!​
