I am appealing my ban for ER 1.7 regarding not providing POV. I want to explain exactly what happened, because this feels like a misunderstanding rather than an intentional rule break on my part. The player I killed made a POV request on me, and Admin Snappy gave me 48 hours to provide footage. However, I never received any notification in-game or any direct message telling me that I had a pending POV request. Without any notification, I had no way to know that I needed to save or upload anything. According to the server rules, after 48 hours players are allowed to delete their POV. Since I did NOT know there was a request, I deleted my video after the 48-hour period had already passed. Then, four days later, I suddenly received a ban — even though by that time the footage was already gone because the allowed time window was over. I never refused to provide POV. I simply had no idea that one was requested. The deletion happened within the allowed timeframe. Request for Fair Review I kindly ask the admin team to re-check the other player’s POV and re-judge the situation based on their footage. Their POV still exists, and reviewing it will show what actually happened. It is not fair that I get banned without even getting a chance to defend myself. I am also fully willing to do a PC check at any time. I have nothing to hide. My History on the Server I have played and worked hard on this server for almost 2 years, building everything from zero. Getting banned now feels extremely painful because I am losing everything I’ve built over such a long time. I also want to make it clear that this is not the first time something like this has happened. Previously, I was banned for the same issue, and in that case I did provide POV — just late — because again, I received no notification. I will provide that link below to show that I always try to follow rules and cooperate.
This is why I strongly believe there may be an issue with notifications or logs on my account. Please Check Notification Logs I respectfully request the admins to check the notification logs for my account. It is very possible that I never received the POV request due to: an update a bug a UI glitch or any other server-side issue If the logs show I never received the notification, then the ban is clearly unfair. Thank you for taking the time to read this appeal. I truly hope you reconsider the ban and understand my situation. I am committed to following server rules and want to continue being part of the community.
