Hello, I’d like to appeal my punishment because I believe the situation was misunderstood.

The player I was dealing with had assaulted me and was carrying illegal items, so I was trying to arrest him and send him to solitary confinement as part of the RP. During the situation, he left, and when I later saw him again, I asked why he left while I was trying to arrest him. For that, I received a 45-minute silence.

Afterwards, I continued the RP and sent him to solitary confinement, but then I was jailed for FailRP/mixing. I understand the rules and I was not trying to mix OOC with IC or ruin RP. I was only reacting to the fact that the player left during an active arrest situation.

I’ve been trying to roleplay properly the entire time, and if I handled anything incorrectly, it honestly wasn’t intentional. I’d really appreciate another review of the situation and possibly a reduction or removal of the punishment.
