Dear Administration Team,
I am submitting this report along with supporting evidence regarding a Chain of Command violation, abuse of authority, and my subsequent demotion.
As shown in my evidence, Cameron Birch did not follow the established Chain of Command rules. At the time of the incident, I was Rank 24, while Cameron Birch was Rank 23. According to the Chain of Command policy, a Rank 23 member is not authorized to supervise, investigate, or request Bodycam footage from a Rank 24 member, even if they belong to the Internal Affairs department.
Despite this, Cameron Birch requested my Bodycam footage. I respectfully declined because he was a lower rank and did not have the authority to make such a request. Instead of escalating the matter properly, he continued demanding my Bodycam.
To resolve the situation correctly, I tagged the Director (Elon) so that the issue could be handled by the appropriate authority. However, instead of the Director responding, Olivia Specter (Chief of Staff) intervened and repeatedly defended Cameron Birch despite the clear Chain of Command violation.
After some time, the Deputy Director joined the discussion and attempted to resolve the situation professionally. Out of respect for the Deputy Director and to avoid further conflict, I provided my Bodycam footage. Even after I complied, Olivia Specter continued defending Cameron Birch rather than addressing the rule violation.
I also believe the Director was aware of the situation but chose not to intervene. During the discussion, I mentioned that I would contact the Curators regarding the matter. Within approximately one minute, Elon contacted me directly through DMs, which indicates he was monitoring the situation. Despite being aware of the ongoing issue, he did not step in to resolve it.
Following this incident, I created a forum report regarding the matter. Shortly afterward, I was demoted from Rank 24 to Rank 22, and my departmental roles were removed. Because of this demotion, they may attempt to misrepresent the situation by claiming that I was a lower rank than Cameron Birch at the time of the incident. My evidence clearly proves that I was Rank 24 when the events occurred.
