I got out of my vehicle when a player demanded me. After complying with the demand, I immediately started leaving the area as instructed. I was running back toward my vehicle to leave the scene, but before I could get away, the player shot and killed me.

Seems like a confusion from both sides.
When demands given you should be running through your vehicle. Why you ran on the other side?
After giving demands and when youre are coming back to the location they can shoot.
