I got banned for:
6.17 It is forbidden to use OBS and any similar softwares for recordings. All overlays must be recorded. | Ban 30 days
I use medal to record, and I record my whole screen including overlays. You can clearly see in the clip that all overlays are being recorded (FPS counter in the top right, and the ALT TAB menu). I have a second monitor and I tabbed to the second monitor as that's where I have my Penal Code list open and my discord. I have not broken the rule, as it doesn't state anywhere that I need to record my second monitor, only that I record all my overlays which I do.
James Pluxury has stated that Medal does not record all overlays, when in fact it does. I just dont have my second monitor recorded. You can see in the image taken from the original bodycam that the overlays are being recorded, and the image take from Medal itself showing that it records the full screen.
This needs to be looked at again properly as it is not breaking any rules.
I posted the original bodycam because the player was running around all morning RDM and was even muted later and still continued to RDM and do ATM robberies while muted. Seems totally unfair that someone who follows the rules is punished while someone who was breaking the rules for hours on end gets a slap on the wrist. Multiple attempts were made by multiple people to get help IC but to no avail.
